Write to your councillor
Generally speaking, 10% of councillors will be pro airport, and 10% for its closure.
The other 80% will be pro getting re-elected and throw their weight behind the popular cause. You and your friends, family and colleagues really can make a change by writing to your local councillor and letting them know your views.
You can also write to the newspapers local and national as well as TV and radio channels asking them to take an interest. So put the kettle on, get your pen or email ready and let the people who work for us know what we want them to be doing.
